Broken Java after downgrade
originally we had Java 6.xx installed, then I upgraded it to java 7, but that was incompatible with some software, so the software was removed using SCCM 2012 "msiexec.exe /q /x "jrexxxxx.msi"..ever since then, when we try to update java, it fails miserably!
specific errors: SCCM 2012 reports fatal install error 1603
using debug logging, I see these lines:

(I was upgrading to java 6 Update 37)
any ideas on how to fix this?
