Broadcom BCM57780 not working with RH compatible kernel

1726881Feb 1 2016 — edited Feb 2 2016

Hello,

we just started using the redhat compatible kernel and noticed that the network card doesn't get recognised. It works fine when using UEK. After a few more tests, it works correctly on Oracle Linux 7.0 but not on 7.2. Here's a small table:

Oracle Linux
KernelNetwork
7.0UEK 3.8.13.35.3.1Ok
7.0Redhat 3.10.0-123Ok
7.2UEK 3.8.13-118.2.5Ok
7.2Redhat 3.10.0-327.4.5Not working

Here's the output of lspci for the card

02:00.0 Ethernet controller: Broadcom Corporation NetLink BCM57780 Gigabit Ethernet PCIe (rev 01)

Anyone knows why it doesn't work?

Thanks for your help.
