Breakpoint for huge data insertion

planetZSep 25 2017 — edited Sep 27 2017

Hello everyone,

I am trying to insert a huge amount of data in an oracle table (near about 90,000 rows).

And it is taking like forever to complete the query. So I have aborted it everytime after waiting long.

Is there any way I can put a breakpoint or atleast check how many rows have been inserted so far?

And there is another catch. When I am trying to insert many rows at once (like 500 rows) it is taking a lot of time.

Whereas when I am breaking them (say 200 and 300) and then inserting, it is taking very less time.

Any reason for this behaviour?

This will be of great help..!!

Thank you..!!
