I have two model of server has encounter the problem.
I have the one blade 6K come with T3-1B server, I try to boot from external DVD rom to re-install the Sol 11.4, I probe-scsi-all to see the dvd device is work with this server, then I type devalias to see if there is physical path, then I boot the alias device associated with physical path. But I find the message can't read lablel, boot failed message. I can see the content of my pc before boot dvd rom .
I want to isolate the dvd problem so I try to use the same dvd boot up on the SFV 240 but still the same symptom.
I have no idea the problem and solution to fix it. Is it everyone to have this problem when boot from external device ? Please advice.
