Blocks column difference between the tables dba_tables and dba_segments?

What is the difference between the value of "blocks" column in dba_tables and dba_segments.

Below query show different values for a.blocks and b.blocks. Why?

select a.blocks, b.blocks from dba_tables a, dba_segments b where a.table_name=b.segment_name and b.segment_name='ABC'.
