Block Corruption

User_5DG2VAug 16 2022

Hello,
we have the following configurations:
Please find details for ICBS DB Server for both Physical and Vmware VM.
VM:-
Server:- Dell PowerEdge R750
Vmware:-VMware ESXi, 7.0.3, 19193900
Processor Type: Intel(R) Xeon(R) Platinum 8358 CPU @ 2.60GHz
Disk Type:-
1. Samsung 15TB:- PM1733 15.36TB NvME SSD
2. Samsung 7TB:- PM1733 7.68TB NvME SSD
RAID Type:- DELL RAID Controller (BOSS-S2)

Physical Host:-
Server:- Huawei RH2288H V3
OS:- Oracle Linux 7.9
Processor Type: Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2697 v4 @ 2.30GHz
Disk Type:- Huawei ES3600P V3 1.6TB NvME SSD
RAID Type:- Linux Software RAID (MDADM)

Whenever we move to VM host we are regularly hitting ORA-01578: ORACLE data block corrupted on random data files. What might be the cause of the issue? On Physical this never happens.

Regards,
Hussein
