We have an application that stores *.pdf files as BLOBs .We need the physical files (pdf) generated so that our vendor can upload to SharePoint. We are moving the documents from Application to SharePoint Online (SPO) so this will be a one-time transfer. All the files are PDF but they are stored as BLOB in the Oracle database. We just need to reverse engineer from BLOB to pdf.
We need to evaluate the table and identify the methodology to create the physical files. We will also need to maintain the associated “metadata” with the file.
This is an Oracle Database Standard Edition V 10.2.0.4 on Windows Server . The Db is a 2 node RAC DB.
Can anybody please suggest the best way to make this happen?
We are open to installing any new components to the database as well, in order to achieve this.
