Hi,
I am using APEX 19.1 on database 12c, Chrome browser.
I have searched the Internet for days for an answer, but apparently to have a download link to your blob, you cannot do it in Interactive Grid (IG) but can only be done in Interactive Report (IR).
In the IR in fact it is very easy, just set the column to type "Download BLOB". See below; an IR I made.
However Interactive Report (IR) has certain functionalities that are not available in Interactive Grid (IG).
Also, IR widens the rows according to the data inserted, which I don't want. I want a fixed row height. (Maybe someone has an answer on this too)
I also found a 5 year old post on this, and tried it, but it only works in Classic Report:
I cannot understand why this functionality is in IR, but after all these years this has not been added in IG.
Will IR be deprecated in the future?
Anyone managed to download blob in IG ?
