Blank pages in Oracle Reports 6i

Hello,
I´m using oracle reports 6i and I have 2 questions

* Can I change BLANKPAGES param from PL/SQL?, I´ve seen in the forum that there´s REPORT_OBJECT but is it for reports 6i?

* I have three objects, one is the main section an the others are in the margin. I have one global var that shows or hides the main secion depending on its value, but it doesn´t work properky with the margin objects.

Any idea would be appreciated, thanks in advance.
