In WACS We are currently unable to retrieve or use multiple bin-wise inventory quantity details for a specific stock item in under Multiple Bin Functionality.
The system does not display or return bin-level quantity information.
Due to this limitation, we are unable to:
1.Retrieve bin-wise inventory quantity details for stock items.
2.Track inventory quantities stored in different bin locations under the same storeroom.
3.Capture and report stock that is stored in external or alternate bin locations.
4.Clearly manage situations where the same stock item exists in multiple bins.
Additionally, during Physical Inventory transactions, the system prompts for bin details. However, it is unclear how Oracle WACS captures and reconciles quantities when the same stock item is found in multiple bin locations.
This impacts our operations because:
1. We lack visibility of inventory distribution at the bin level.
2. Physical inventory reconciliation becomes unclear when items exist in multiple bins.
3. Inventory control and audit accuracy at the warehouse level are affected.
4. Reporting and stock verification for compliance and operational control are limited.
Hence, bin level inventory quantity tracking should be included in WACS Inventory Management to solve the above issues.
