BI Publisher Template Excel Output Blank
I'm just starting to work with BI Publisher (10.1.3.4.1) for Oracle FSG reports. I created a RTF template and uploaded it using the BI Publisher Administration menu. When I submitted a single Financial report, the output PDF file looks good, however, when selecting output to Excel, the resulting sheet is blank. Next thing I tried was using the 'Generic FSG Template' (XSL-FO) that comes with Oracle. When running the report, both PDF as well as Excel as output work. Then I downloaded the 'Generic FSG Template' via BI Publisher. I saved the file with the XSL extension. Then I imported this template, under a new name, using BI Publisher. I then reran the report using this new template, which should be the same as the current one on file, with the result that the PDF output works and the Excel output again gives me a blank worksheet. Any clue as to what might be happening here?
