BI Publisher Excel Report precision

Hi,

I have a report, which generates excel from XML data. The output contains the field unit price, which displays in dollar format. $10.34. Now, our company changes the unit price to 3 decimals and print the same. The format i had earlier is:

$#,##0.00;($#,##0.00)

As I wanted to print the decimal to 3 decimal precision (eg. $10.342), I have changed the format to

$#,###0.000;($#,###0.000)

But it is not working, still it shows 2 decimal places only. Please help me in how to display the output in 3 decimal places.
