I have installed Oracle BI EE and I am trying to configure BI Publisher. In admin > System Maintenance > Scheduler configuration I have entered the following for a SQL Server database:
Database Type - Microsoft SQL Server
Connection String - jdbc:sqlserver://<server name>
username - oraclebi
password - password
Database Driver Class - com.microsoft.jdbc.sqlserver.SQLServerDriver

oraclebi is the user I have created in SQL Server to access the database I created. I am signed in as Administrator, and used cryptotools to add alias of bipublisheradmin to credentialstore.xml.

When I select Test Connection I get the error - could not establish connection.

Does any jdbc software have to be installed or should I be using that installed with BI EE, in which case what are the connect string and driver class? Anything else I may have missed.
