Best way to input a Float?

Well, title says all, Scanner isn't the best way, so don't start with that one

P.S.: DO NOT START ABOUT DUOBLES OR ANYTHING! I JUST WANT TO KNOW THE BEST WAY TO INPUT A FLOAT!!!
