Does anyone have a recommendation for the best reporting tool for 100,000 rows of details from Essbase (Planning) BSO/ ASO 11.1.2.4?
We are presently using HFR and it is so slow that it will hang.
We need a tool that can run on a schedule and that can push multiple detail reports out to users' shared drives.
Report Scripts can't handle that large a report. Smartview can't be batched nor scheduled. DataExport does not give subtotals. OBIEE reporting via its connector to Essbase is slow. So the only solution I can think of is to use ODI to extract data from Essbase cube to Oracle SQL server and then generate reports using SQL.
Does anybody know of a better way than ODI to extract data from Essbase to SQL database?

ps. I dream, couple of nights ago, that Essbase (on-prem?) died and was in a coffin. At its funeral, it started to move it's mouth, head and shoulders (albeit small motion). I thought it strange that Essbase could survive the Corona's freezer. Everyone was surprised that the dead could move!! I'm serious. I really dreamed this.
