Best Way to Display Up to Three Form/Report Regions Side-by-Side in APEX v5.1

Tony FatourosMay 6 2017 — edited May 9 2017

Hi,

Using Oracle APEX v5.1 and me being fairly new to this version, what would be the best way to display three regions, side-by-side, that could contain a form in Region 1, another form in Region 2 and a report in Region 3?

I guess I am after something similar to the way the new Page Designer is displayed and being able to allow each region being scrollable. Not sure if iframes would be needed for this?

I'm basically after the following workflow:

1) At page load, Region 1 (form) is first displayed to the user on the left-most. Region 2 and Region 3 are hidden

2) When a button in Region 1 is pressed, Region 2 (form) then appears alongside Region 1, so to the right of Region 1 form

3) Finally, when a button in Region 2 is pressed, Region 3 (report) then appears alongside Region 2, so to the right of Region 2 form

Would appreciate if someone could please let me know if this is possible within v5.1 (with ot without using iframes but prefer without) and if so, any examples that I could look at or the best way to achieve this?

Thanks.

Tony.
