Best Way to convert of AFP(IBM format) file to PDF

Hi,
I need to convert the AFP to PDF. AFP format is in binary format. Currently i am first conerting AFP to XML and then to XML to PDF.
But in this method some overlapping is occuring. So what is the best method and how to do that?
Best method in the accuracy,performance.
