Best practice to Pull data Oracle/SqlServer

I want to pull a huge volume of data from Oracle 11g to SQL server 2008, for that I have created a db link also. Every thing works fine.

But I have an option either pull the data to oracle or SQL server. Both has same volume of data (10 Million) and 20 + columns.

I want to know what will be the best practice to pull the data , pull from SQL server 2008 to Oracle 11g Or Pull Oracle 11g data to SQL server 2008.

Please advise on this.
