Best approach for noticing input on form has changed

Wim MeysFeb 7 2018 — edited Feb 7 2018

Hi,

I'm looking for a best approach to track if any data has been in my form.

I want the Save / Apply Changes button only to be clickable when the data on the page indeed has been changed.

Now the page can be save over and over again while there are no changed made.

Several of my pages use Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD) with "generated as identity" keys.

By saving without changes being made, I get multiple copies of my records.

I'm now looking for some generic approach to enable / disable the Save/Apply Changes button.

Suggestions are welcome.

Cheers

Wim
