Beginner question: How to create/populate Time Dimension in AWM?

MarcosSpínolaMar 23 2009 — edited Mar 29 2009
Hi there. I'm really sorry to ask you guys such a dumb question but I cannot find how to implement a time dimension in AWM.

I'll let you guys know how far I got till now:

1- Created the Analytic Workspace;
2- Created a couple of business Dimensions, with their own levels and hierarchies;
3- Mapped and maintained business Dimensions;
4- Created the Time Dimension, with its own level and hierarchy;

My problems start here....

I couldn't see how to map the Time Dimension. I noticed the END-DATE and TIME SPAN attributes, but I couldn't understand if I should use a Database Table as a source for it....
I've created and populated a Time Dimension using Oracle Warehouse Builder (both as MOLAP and ROLAP implementations) and tried to import it to my Analytic Workspace, but I didn't succeeded.

So, if you guys could shed some light on this issue, it would be highly appreciated....

TIA
Marcos
