Before Header Computation or Before Header Branch which fires first?

Hi,

I want a before header comp to fire before a before header branch. But it doesn't seem to be happening. I want to populate some application items, chech a date range and then move to the next page. I set up the compute and the branch as 'before header' with the compute having the lower seq number. The branch seems to be firing right away.. is this possible?
