bea workspace studio 1.1 performance

Our application has become really large and we cant any resources in portal editors (need to open in xml or text editors) without the workspace getting stuck. The clean build takes close to 10 min.
Are there any configurations, settings that can be disabled to speed up the build process.

This is what I have updated in the workSpaceStudio.ini

-Xms512m
-Xmx768m
-XX:MaxPermSize=256m
-XX:PermSize=192m

If anyone is aware of any studio / eclipse settings that can speed it up, please let me knw
