BEA MessageQ

Hi,
I apologize if this is in the wrong forum but I thought it might be related to, or involve JMS so I posted it here. I need to develop an application that communicates with a remote application via BEA MessageQ server v3.2B (the remote application already exists; I am only building the client portion). Does anyone have any experience writing a Java app that interfaces with BEA MessageQ? If so what is entailed? The documentation that I have viewed already shows how to write a C/C++ BEA MQ client but not Java. Are there any API's available in Java for this?
