BDE General SQl error ORA 03114

Hi all,

On a windows 7 64-bit machine I tried to install Oracle 8i & BDE 5.1. Both installations went well and I received no errors.

However, when I try to connect Oracle, I am constantly receiving the below error.

General SQL error.
ORA-03114: not connected to ORACLE

Could you please help.
