bc4j.xcfg - Application Module shared configuration

Hi,

Can someone tell me whether the shared configuration in the Application Module (AM) configuration file (bc4j.xcfg) is needed when the AM is not shared? Will the ADF application work with no issues if it is removed? By default, 2 configurations (local and shared) are created in bc4j.xcfg by JDeveloper when a new AM is created.

I am using JDeveloper version 11.1.1.6.0.
