BATABASE LINK QUESTION PLS HELP ME

Hi Every Body,
Someone can help me?
I have created one data base link and I would like to know what 's the difference en performance point of view between these 2 queries :

select * from MYBASE.MY_TABLE@MY_DBLINK; -- MY_DBLINK on MYBASE1and
select * from MYBASE1.MY_TABLE FOR UPDATE;
