Hello everyone,
I´m doing for first time an approach to Barcodes, so I have no idea what is necessary.
I searched for tutorials in web ( Ashish Awasthi's Blog (Jdev/ADF): Generate Barcode Image in Oracle ADF using OnBarcode API ; https://dzone.com/articles/java-barcode-api ; http://amitspiral.blogspot.pt/2015/05/generate-barcode-in-adf-12c.html ; Oracle Articles: BarCode Reader - SBA | Oracle ADF , Download OnBarcode Barcode SDK, Component, and Applications Online ; Oracle Mobile Application Framework Samples) and posts ( https://community.oracle.com/search.jspa?q=barcode&place=%2Fplaces%2F1859&depth=ALL ) in this community and saw a lot of things, but got confused.
As for my use case the one that fits best is : https://blogs.oracle.com/imc/entry/another_dynamic_form_in_adf
But is not working (neither any of the above mentioned ), there is some sequence, wich i don´t have, and therefore when i run the application gives error.
However, what i would like is some explainations.
For now i only want to read with a keyboard wedge. Is just that simple as mentioned in: to try any scanner to see if it works on the page?
It would be nice if there was a demo that work wich i could download and try, does any one know?
Later, if i want to create barcodes i need to pay Purchase OnBarcode Barcode Library & SDK Licenses Online - OnBarcode.com as mentioned in ,is that correct?
So, to read i don´t pay, but to create i have to pay?
When creating barcodes i saw there are different fonts(code39, code128, etc...) and they generate different formats, so, how does the above scanner knows which/how to read from different codes? Isn´t necessary to do something?
I am using jdev 12.1.3, and used all jar files i found (including zxing) and couldn´t get any to work (most likely because of my inexperience on this).
Can someone give me a point?
BTW, i don´t need this to be in amx pages for MAF, i just want as jspx/jsf pages.
Thanks very much
Regards,
Carlos
