Backup of standby DB with Basic Data Guard license

Hi,

I want to make backup from Data Guard Standby DB but I am concerned about license. My servers are licensed only as Basic Data Guard.

I don't wanna use BCT, just a regular RMAN backup taken from Standby DB and I am not sure if this qualify as Basic Data Guard or Active.

Can I make a backup of Standby DB with just Basic Data Guard license?
