Backup Exec Agent - oratab file empty . how i can created !

Dear All,

Hi . this Omran , i face one Issue when i try to Connect my Backup software (Symantec 2012 ) to Linux OS (11.1.0 g 64 bit)

The Engineer advise to create a oratab file becouse its not created ?

is it possible i can created manually becous what i know the oratab file create by oracle ?

the File there but when i press # cd etc/oratab --> oratab not a directory

please advise
