backup and restore of 10gdb to 11g

Hi All,
Can anyone please tell the best approach for backup and restore of database from oracle 10g to 11.2.0.3
i have 10g db on one server RHEL4 ...need to load the data from 10g to 11g on the other server
will general export/import work for this? can anyone please tell me the procedure
