backspace on Solaris9

Hey Guys,

Another question; when I press backspace on the xterm window I get ^H
I ready I cna fo to stty to change so that backspace can be used to do backspace instead of getting ^H^H^H

and pressing tab used to complete but that isnt working how do I invoke that option this?
