Documentation unclear on how to utilize NFS storage for Audit Vault server backup
Problem Description
---------------------------------------------------
I have configured an NFS mount in AVCLI to use as a target for the audit vault backup utility:
AVCLI> list remote filesystem
2> ;
-----------------------------------------------------------------
| NAME | TYPE | HOST | EXPORT_PATH |
=================================================================
| ARCHIVEFS | NFS | omaedcpsa009.interpublic.com | /auditarc |
| BACKUPFS | NFS | omaedcpsa009.interpublic.com | /auditbak |
-----------------------------------------------------------------
2 row(s) selected.
The command completed successfully.
AVCLI> SHOW STATUS OF REMOTE FILESYSTEM BACKUPFS;
--------------
| STATUS |
==============
| ACCESSIBLE |
--------------
and from the AV server console, these mounts show up as :
omaedcpsa009.interpublic.com:/auditarc 492G 70M 487G 1% /nas/13
omaedcpsa009.interpublic.com:/auditbak 296G 13G 280G 5% /nas/14
In the backup config, I am able to point the backup to /nas/14, but not to /BACKUPFS.
For backups, this begs 2 questions:
1) should I register NFS mounts via AVCLI for use with backups (or use OS commands to mount it) ?
2) if I use AVCLI, how do I configure that mount as a target, using the backup config tool ?
