Auxiliary database

Hello all,

I have one doubt regarding "auxiliary database".

Could anyone Please let me know the concept of "auxiliary database". Can we use "auxiliary database" name for a database which we created using database cloning method (Using User-managed hot backup or RMAN). if not then what is the difference between clone database and auxiliary database.
