Automatic Storage Management Target down in Enterprise Manager Grid 11.1

835923Feb 8 2011 — edited Jan 23 2012
Hi,

I use Oracle Enterprise Manager Grid 11.1.0.1.0 and I got alert that ASM target is down, because the whole linux box , the database and ASM have been restarted. The database uses ASM and it is up and running now. This alert is old , how can I clear it / reevaluate it so that to see relevant state?

Here is what I got :

Agent is unable to communicate with the OMS. (REASON = Agent is Unreachable (REASON : Agent to OMS Communication is brokenNo response header from OMS )
Agent Unreachability is cleared. The current status of the target is DOWN.
Agent is Unreachable (REASON = No route to host). Host is unreachable (REASON = Ping timed out.)

The alert message is :
"Failed to connect to ASM instance. ORA-15000: command disallowed by current instance type (DBD ERROR: OCISessionBegin)"

I also tried to reevaluate the alert as Super Administrator user but I got message "You do not have adequate the privilege to perform this operation. Only administrators with Manage Target Alert privileges can collect metrics."

Any idea how to reevaluate the state ?

Thanks,
Maria
