Automatic Printing

Hi,

I have been writing an application in APEX and need to be able to print out an A4 label with barcodes on it automatically when a specific action is carried out by the user.

Currently we are creating a report and getting the users to print using the browser window but need it to print after they press a button on the screen.

I have searched the forum but only seem to come across PDF printing. We have PDF printing working for part of the application but need to be able to automatically print these labels in the background somehow.

Any suggestions on if this is possible in APEX or are there any other possibilities i could look at?
