Automated reconciliation - Matching of reconciling items directly in Oracle

Hello,

We are looking for a way of having the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts done directly in Oracle so that when we want the listing of what is making the account balance we just have to run a report which gives this list rather than having to reconcile accounts in an excel file. Does Oracle provide such features?

We would like to understand how you do your balance sheet reconciliation, what are the best practices using Oracle.
