Autoexec help

843804Jun 28 2004 — edited Jul 8 2004
Ok. I finally manged to get the java -version thing to work. BUT when I go to javac a program it keeps telling me bad command or filename. My teacher has told that this has to do with the classpath in my autoexec.bat file. I have searched through your databases and have found some but when I make the changes and reboot the same thing happens. I have windows 98 and have downloaded and installed J2SDK 1~1.2_0. The following is my autoexec.bat file. Please help.

@ECHO OFF
C:\WINDOWS\COMMAND\DOSKEY.COM;

SET PATH=C:\PROGRA~1\THINKPAD\UTILIT~1;c:\j2sdk1.4.2\bin;
Set CLASSPATH=c:\j2sdk1.4.2;
Rem The following line creates the hibernation file.
if not exist c:\save2dsk.bin C:\PROGRA~1\THINKPAD\UTILIT~1\phdisk /c /f<C:\PROGRA~1\THINKPAD\UTILIT~1\yes

Rem The following line is no longer needed. It may be deleted.
If Exist C:\MFGBOOTI.REG C:\WINDOWS\REGEDIT C:\MFGBOOTI.REG

c:\windows\cwcdata\cwcdos.exe /P
