I understand that in forms 14 that the frmsal.jar will autoupdate to the client if the server has been upgraded. However we are still running Forms 12 and this does not happen. Our thought is to possibly use the OHS instance on the server to host the frmsal.jar and then using a client command procedure to wget or curl the frmsal.jar from the server to the client. This would ensure that the frmsal.jar is always current.
We have not touched the OHS configuration as it does not seem to be very clear on what should be done based on the documentation I have read so far. Our FMW server is running in SSL mode so that may impact the configuration.
