Auto export of an OBIEE View

Hi:
Does anyone know if it's possible to have OBIEE automatically export to Excel? My user wants to have a link in a region containing a summary report, and that link will pass the dashboard prompts to a detail report and automatically export the report to Excel. In other words, the user will not see the detail report, just export it.
Any suggestions?
