Audit trail failing to collect from sys.aud$

Hi All

Kindly assist.

I did setup audit trail collection for two oracle dbs. they were working just fine.

Recently I have just discovered that the audit trail is not collecting from sys.aud$ table with error

av.collector.ERROR_SENDING_RECORDS_TO_SERVER obtained after querying

select * from AVSYS.AUDIT_TRAIL WHERE AUDIT_TRAIL_TYPE='TABLE' AND HOST_NAME='host_name';

Please assist as I have searched for solution in many forums but nobody seems to have a solution for this problem.
