Asynch Hotlog CDC Fallen Behind - Reset Start / First SCN?
Hi,
Through a period of inactivity the Change Data Capture process seems to have fallen behind the source database when looking at the current SCN of the database compared to the status of my capture rows in DBA_CAPTURE , all capture processes in V$STREAMS_CAPTURE have a status of WAITING FOR DICTINARY REDO : FIRST SCN 25323705798.
current_scn in v$database is sitting at 35512945311.
Im not that fussed about replaying the old transactions (right now) I just want to reset ODI to consume changes from now.
I've dropped / restarted CDC journals from ODI to no avail, the SCN reported in DBA_CAPTURE still reads 25323705798 for both captured_scn, applied_scn and first_scn both before and after a drop from ODI.
How do I re-set the CDC processes to 'start' capturing changes from the current SCN and going forward ?
