AST (Automatic SQL Tuning) - does it require a license

Hi,

Does AST (Automatic SQL Tuning) require an extra license?

Though I have read up on the difference between SQL profiles (not requiring an extra license) and SQL plan management (requiring an extra license) but it is not 100% clear to me if AST uses SQL profiles (thus not requiring an extra license) of SQL plan management.
