Assign value to application item using dynamic action

Hello,

I have created application item (APP_ITEM) and I want to assign Interactive grid current row cell value to the application item and want to use this value through out the application within the session.

but when I print application item value to console I am not able to get any value of out it.

assignment of value is not working as expected.

below code I have used APP_ITEM is application item which is not working but P13_NEW is page item which is working fine.

Can anyone help on this.
