Essential Energy has implemented several product enhancements to support higher transaction volumes and streamline user navigation by reducing interaction complexity. It is recommended that Oracle evaluate the adoption of these enhancements within the core product and partner with Essential Energy on continuous improvement initiatives. One of these enhancements is: Asset Inspection Portal
A portal to manage and maintain the Asset Inspection Programme and resources. This would comprise of following functionality: -
- Dedicated functions focused on PM and the ability to manage both WO AND MA Asset Record PM Triggers
- Ability to bulk update by multiple selection and change Planned Start and End Dates OR add Days to shift planned start date fields
- Ability to update Assigned To (the Asset Inspector) on the WO record
- Ability to colour line items by rules / logic such as Red where Planned Start Date is exceeded by 30 days etc
- Ability to change schedule for the WO related to an asset
- Cycle now functionality
This would prevent users from going through multiple WACS portals and screens and reduce the time taken by asset inspectors to do their day-to-day work via one portal
