Assertion failed when uninstalling 11g client

Hello,

I am trying to re-install Oracle client 11g.
But, when I try to uninstall through deinstall.bat utility I get the following error while the batch is removing .NET components:

Assertion Failed!

Program: C:\Windows\SysWOW64\regsvr32.exe
File: C:\ADE\aime_1\oo4o\src\oraipsrv\src\REGISTRY.CPP
Line: 158

Expression: (lResult == ERROR_SUCCESS) || (lResult == ERROR_FILE_NOT_FOUND)

And I think I installed the 32 bit client on a 64 bit system. Is there a workaround, or a fix available?
