ASO Plan type from planning application Security filters issue

We have a planning application which has 3 BSO plantypes and one ASO plan type. Security for the BSO is done through the secFile.txt and is working perfectly. For the ASO cube, we tried creating the filters and assigning them to the groups but we are getting the below error

"Cannot modify access permission on planning application in Shared services mode".

The groups are provisioned with Planner for the Planning application and server Access under the Essbase Cluster.

The groups or the user tables are showing as Planning only instead of Planning and Essbase.

Please let us know how to create the filters and assigning them for the Planning ASO plantype through EAS/Maxl without any errors(syntax is known)
