ASMM / AMM & Advisory

MoonlightMay 20 2014 — edited May 27 2014

Hi,

I'm setting these parameters :

pga_agreggate_targe=600M

sga_target=600M

memory_target=1232M

memory_max_size=1536M

After a workload of database, I check advisories to know if memory is sufficient or not:

advisory PGA (v$pga_target_advice) tels that good value should be 4864M

advisory SGA (v$sga_target_advice) tels that good value should be 1344M

But in memory advisory (v$memory_target_advice) all it's right !

I find

current value of sga =752M

current value of pga=560M

current value of memory=1232M

My questions:

1- why PGA was be set down to fixed value (600M)

2- according to SGA and PGA advisories, should be add memory ? or according to memory advisory, it's not necessary to add memory?

Thank you for your help
