ASM on Disk more than 2 TB

901651Jan 11 2012 — edited Jan 11 2012
Dear all,

I have question about ASM,

Is this save to use Disk partition with size more than 2 TB on Oracle DB 11.2.0.2 (RHEL 5 64bit)?

I have been reading oracle support about ASM more than 2 TB, but I'm not sure for 11.2.0.2 version

- ORA-15196 WITH ASM DISKS LARGER THAN 2TB [ID 736891.1]
- ASM - Scalability and Limits [ID 370921.1]
- Receiving errors when creating new diskgroup in ASM - ORA-15018 and ORA-15099 [ID 1057333.1]
- Bug 6453944 - ORA-15196 with ASM disks larger than 2TB [ID 6453944.8]

Regards
