ASM Diskgroup size 10x times bigger than database size available

user11166901Jul 3 2012 — edited Jul 4 2012
I'm new to this forum and Oracle in general. I have one question to resolve.

We have Oracle ver. 10.1

How to extend database to match diskgroup size.

My example:

Database Size Used space Free space
-------------------- -------------------- --------------------
34 GB 9 GB 25 GB

Diskgroup size:
Path File Name Fail Group File Size (GB) Used Size (GB) Pct. Used
-------------------- -------------------- ---------------------------------------- -------------------- --------------------
/dev/oracleasm/disks/EVA8400_T DISK_GROUP DISK_GROUP 409,600 35,267 8.61

Thanks for any hint Matjaz
