I think that during the processes of revision, upgrade or replicate of hardware the online DB transfer/movement (not like Oracle 12c online file transfer) of structures of using ASM can decrease our workload. At the same time we can take snapshot of Disk group or disks and transfer/implement to anywhere. As I know , Many storage systems can take snapshot and online transfer disks. I think it does not seem to be hard
